
Yellow Rose

I found this yellow rose in the front garden. It had a sort of modest beauty. I put it into a vase with some water and forgot it there until dried. It lost almost all its nice yellow petals. They were scattered on the table all around the rose but, still, it (she) retained a certain withered beauty. I made this small sketch out of it (her) from life.
