After more than 5 years of lessons with Rich (Ryszard) Fojcik and briefly also with Czeslaw, his father, this time like all things has now come to an end. Since 2016 I decided to start drawing and painting again. That was how I met Rich, who helped me a lot and with whom a friendship developed.

Czeslaw was also important for showing me other directions and Rich’s mother, Ewa Kwasniewska, for with one single sentence she was influential. I asked her, “How do I draw the countless wrinkles on this little bonobo’s forehead?” “Easy,” she replied, “Without fear!” A family of excellent artists, but also wonderful people whom I want to thank sincerely.

The stuffed rabbit was my skill-tester on the first day with Rich.
