About me

It was in the 8th grade, in the school year 1970-1971, when my art teacher, in my memory as a 12/13-year-old student a very vivid eccentric figure, who often praised my works, recommended that I attend an art high school.
I did not follow her advice. Instead, I became a civil engineer and can now look back on a long and interesting career that has taken me to countries as diverse as Iraq, Turkey, India, and Germany, where I still live and work today.
An exciting journey through places and peoples but also major projects and always new and unique challenges that have significantly shaped my world view.
